Abstract: Take the Xian's LPG fire as an example, the paper analyzes in detail the fire's feature: ①burning with explosion; ②destructive; ③high temperature of the flame with strong radiation; ④easy to produce repeat-able explosions and ⑤extended fire affected zone. In the light of fire control design, safety management, e-mergency scenario and extinguishing method for LPG tank, the author puts forward some measures to be taken.
