Abstract: Viewing from the angle of LPG Transport Committee of China Shipowner's Association which exercises industrial management of China's shipping market, the article describes the status quo of LPG shipping market in China and on the basis of praising the rapid development of China's LPG shipping market, lays emphasis on analyzing the problems existed in the industry, such as excess transport-capacity, malignant competition, illegal management, and disturbing the transport order, and put forward some constructive proposals about how to standardize China's LPG shipping market, bring into playing the industrial management committee, protect the just rights and interests of LPG shipowners and jointly promote the healthy and ordered development of China's LPG shipping market.
