Abstract: An analogous calculation method with the distribution function to compute the distribution of thickness of wax deposition for buried hot oil pipeline has been presented. In this article, the author provides two practical equations of distribution functions of wax deposition, and points out that the analogous calculation method is more accurate than that of the commonly used average calculation method.
