Abstract: Computing the oil volume of inner floating roof metal tank manually needs repetitive table search, which is a time-consuming process with a certain error rate. Repetitive computation of oil volume is realized by means of Excel software. Result from a computation case shows a high accuracy, convenience in data updating and a short time in computation.
