Abstract: The paper summaries the experience in daily safety management and tank overhauling for 7 oil tanks of 2×10⁴ m³ at Qinhuangdao Oil Tankfarm and safety problems existed in daily operation for the oil tanks are analyzed. Depending on the measures for tanks' overhauling program and integral inspection, overhauling process procedure and qualified technical maintenance team, overhauling quality and technology level are improved and thus effective storage and energy saving storage mode are realized.
