Abstract: If there is liquid water in gas transmission pipeline and other conditions are met, it is dangerous to form hydrate in gas transmission pipeline. Elementary analysis on conditions of forming hydrate has been carried out for Shaan-Jing gas transmission pipeline. Combined with the actual operation condition of this pipeline, several countermeasures against hydrate to be formed are put forward in the paper.
